First is the patented DACS (Design for Advanced Core Stability) system which offers the looks of solid hardwood floors with the stability of engineered flooring. The top layer is the solid hardwood of your choice from each collection. The bottom layer is a balancing layer comprised of solid Douglas Fir providing superior stability. You won’t have to worry about cupping and width shrinkage thanks to the middle layer of cross-laminated fillets. The last component of the DACS system is the tongue and groove side strips that allow Antique Impressions to achieve the solid hardwood floor look.
